Is there a way to set the color tag attribute in macOS with MATLAB?

Is there a way for MATLAB to set the color tags for files or folders in macOS? I feel this would be very useful to show which files or folders have been processed or their status within a workflow.

Yes, it is possible.

Here is the github repo of a command line tool that will manipulate tags.

You can call that command line tool from MATLAB.
