Is the xPC Target C API redistributable?

We're developing some products that are controlled by simulink models compiled against xPC Target. We have the necessary licenses to develop stand-alone embedded xPC Target applications, but now we would like to develop and distribute small software tools to collect information from those products and the simplest way is to use the xPC Target C API. I have been unable to find a clear statement of whether this is legal.
To sum up, does one need a separate MATLAB + Simulink + RTW + xPC Target Embedded license for each computer running an executable compiled with and depending on the xPC Target API?

You only need an xPC Target Embedded Option for yourself, to be able to distribute the standalone application plus the compiled host application using the API.

Great news Rajiv, thanks a lot. Could you point me to somewhere official that clearly states this, all I could find is the "Preface(xPC)" page in the help files and it only says that the embedded option grants you the right to create standalone applications using the API "running on the host PC". "The host PC" might very well mean the PC that you have the license for... I'd really appreciate a clear official source. Thanks again.
