Convert OPC UA data object array to single matrix

Syntax

vSingle = single(dObj)

Description

vSingle = single(dObj) converts the OPC UA data object array dObj into a matrix of data type single.

dObj must have the same time stamps for each of the nodes (elements of dObj), otherwise an error is generated. Use tsunion, tsintersect, or resample to generate an OPC UA data object containing the same time stamp for all nodes in the object.

Examples

Convert OPC UA Data to Single Matrix

Load the OPC UA example data file, convert the uaDataVis object to have the same time stamps, and create a matrix of type single from the result.

load opcSampleUaData;
dUnion = tsunion(uaDataVis);
vSingle = single(dUnion);

Input Arguments

dObj — OPC UA data

OPC UA data object array

OPC UA data, specified as an OPC UA data object array. For more information, see Data.

Output Arguments

vSingle — OPC UA data values

matrix of single type

OPC UA data values, returned as a matrix of single type. vSingle is constructed as an M-by-N matrix of single values, where M is the number of data values in dObj and N is the number of nodes in the array.
