COVID-19 Predictions in Africa using the SIR-Model
Predict the spread of COVID-19 positive cases in Africa or any group of countries of your choice. The code is a modification of that by Batista (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/74658-fitviruscovid19?s_tid=prof_contriblnk). The major difference is the myfitVirusCV19.m function has two outputs. 1) the model prediction statistics and 2) the daily COVID-19 cases predicted using the SIR model and an interpolation algorithm.
