The basic equation of Newton's law which is used to derive the equation of Orbital velocity of satellite is used to make the plot for different heights of satellite from the ground.
Newton's law also tells why planet's move according to the Kepler's Law of planetary motion and it is a basic line to find the orbital velocity of satellite orbiting around the Earth.
