Commands missiing in my Matlab R2009a.

I do not find ztrans and syms command in my matlab version R2209a. If any body can help me with this , I'll be gratefull

Do you have the Symbolic Math Toolbox installed? Both commands you are trying to use are part of that toolbox.

Try the command ver in MATLAB to display your version and installed toolboxes.

Thnx Tobias,, My toolbox list lack "Symbolic Math" toolbox . I have installed the 64 bit part of that software while the Symbolic Marh toolbox is available in 32 bit part of the software. Now Im goin to install that 32 bit part. Thank u for ur help

You need to go back to the installer and use a custom install.
