Creating a matrix that looks similar to a 10x10 timestable grid from x = [1:10] and y = [1:10]

I want to create something like this: http://nodehillmaths.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/03/14/wpe6.gif (ignore the numbers outside of the 10 by 10 box)

Is there any way to do this using something like x = [1:10] and y = [1:10]
