who knows how to convert double to cell so i can get a 2D plot ?

2 variables in my workspace: data (petrolium prices; <7428x1 double>) and tm (time vector; from 1830to 2013; <7425x1 cell>)

question: how can I plot in x axe 'tm' and in y 'data' ,I am gettinh the msg

" Error using ==> plot
Conversion to double from cell is not possible" ,

i guess i need to know how to convert a double to cell array!

You need to convert the cell to a double, not the other way around.

What are some sample contents of your time vector ? Please show
