You forgot to attach your data and script for reading and plotting the data. In the meantime, try findpeaks() if you have the Signal Processing Toolbox.
Local Maximums of a plot

I have two arrays that I plotted, one as the x and the other as the y. Now these arrays are not a function of each other but I need to find 4 peaks on the plot. I can see the peaks so I could easily come up with the four intervals, I just dont know how to write this out. Any help?
