Appdesigner cut/past bug?

When I open R2020b appdesigner of a mapp file created under R2020a, the cut and past menu is grayed out (and action using shortcut does work either). I know there is something in the clipboard.

No problem with app created with R2020b.

Anyone has this problem?

That's grayed out area and I believe it's only supposed to contain components from the UI, and therefore it's not possible to change it. You can create a public property which will create a section in which you can paste in whatever you want.

I swear it happens in the regular code, since I want to modify the existing code.

But this morning when I restart MATLAB I couldn't reproduce the issue.

What would be the purpose of copy/pasting? What are you trying to do?

I have a habit of programming mostly using copy/past existing codes/variable names then change them with keyboard.

Yesterday I have to do everything with keyboards that was a pain.

You can copy and paste components from Design Window/Component Browser if that's what you're lookimg for.

I had issue while copy/past while editing the code in "Code View".
