How to set Sort by: "Date updated (Newest-Oldest)" as a default

Every time I search I get

Sort by: "Relevance" as a default

It's bugging me.

Sorry to bug you! There is no way to do this right now but it's an excellent suggestion. I've added it to the MATLAB Answers wish-list.

Do not know of a settings as such, but you can submit a search through the URL if you are comfortable with it. Save below url as bookmark/favorite.

http://www.mathworks.in/matlabcentral/answers/?term=search+string&sort=updated+desc

Edit the search+string portion by custom text whenever you want to search.

e.g.

http://www.mathworks.in/matlabcentral/answers/?term=R2012b&sort=updated+desc

http://www.mathworks.in/matlabcentral/answers/?term=gui+tab+window&sort=updated+desc
