Why is there no automated or interactive install option when performing a silent installation?

There used to be an option to specify the installer mode in the installer_input file. Why is there no automated or interactive install option in the installer_input file when performing a silent installation for R2020a and newer?

As of R2020a, the automated and interactive install options have been removed from the silent installer.

If I were faced with that kind of situation, I would surely want the option of some kind of progress indicator !
