Live update collaboration in MATLAB Online.

I seem to have noticed that Online doesn't update as i make the change. Is that true? Another collaborator notices the change only after closing the file and opening it again. Or is there any specific amount of default delay in updating code? But I have to admit MATLAB Online is awesome to use, I hope there'll be SIMULINK soon one day in the future.

Can you let us know more about this situation? I'm assuming you are talking about a shared folder contents - if so, are you sharing the folder as a read only share, or does your collaborator have write access as well? When you make the changes, are you saving the file before the collaborator is trying to open it? Any additional information you have is greatly appreciated.

Users have been asking for a collaboration mode where every keystroke or change is immediately sent to all of the people sharing interactively.

Users are talking about abandoning MATLAB if this feature is not made available at least 6 months ago (which is to say that Mathworks has already lost users for lack of it, and the users have been so annoyed about it that they have returned just to complain that this is why they have stopped using MATLAB.)

I am not clear as to what the users have gone to instead. Possibly using the Visual Studios shared editor services to author Python code.

Thank you very much Hisham for the reply. Yes it is a shared folder. Yes the other person has the access to write. Yes it was saved before the collaborator is able to open. As you can see the first paragraph of sir Walters comment is straight to the point where I was getting at. For example see overleaf.com you can see how fast and convenient the real time collaboration is there. Please make those changes as soon as possible it would make life a lot easier. I use MATLAB Online as a everday routine for the Univerity work. So having this feature would increase the worthiness of MATLAB Online. I hope I am very clear. If you have any more clarification please ask. Thank you!
