Why I can’t paste using Cmd+V on Matlab Online?

Using an Ipad Pro with a connected keyboard, while all the shortcuts work efficiently (e.g. Cmd+C, Cmd+V for copy, paste) in Safari, I don't seem to be allowed to paste inside either a Live or a simple Matlab (.m) file.

I've looked online and it seems to be an issue with Live files on Windows but I don't believe that's the case here. Can someone replicate this please and update? It's really important for me to work in this light setup.
