Good morning,
I have some issues with simulink 3d. In particular I was focusing in recreating an environnement similar to the one present int he example with the Lidar sensors.
Unfortunately I am having some issues and the comportement seems to vary in different environnement without any explication: sometimes the sensors don't see the walls and give always a value of -1 when in the environnement I see that the sensor should have detected a wall.
Have you received other questions about the topic? Is it a bug of the 3d environnement?
Thanks,
Davide

That example which Matlab gave to us is obtained with LinePickSensor.
If you create the scene and open the vrfigure of that scene.
That sensor's isActive flag is 1 when collision occurs, else it is 0.
The problem is that if the walls are not created from simple geometries, those obstacles are seen as boundingboxes for that sensor.
I did not understand where -1 comes from to you.
