display two figures in one

hi everybody , so i got a battleship code that displayed the game in a figure , and i got a countdown file that also displayed in a figure ,

now my problem is to display the clock while the game is running , somehow i cant use subplot because how the game was written(not by me)

any advise?

Just put a static text label on the figure and write to that.
