How can i use Comparator subsystem for F28379D TI C2000 launchpad via Simulink

I'm trying to get the Hysteresis Current control using TI F28379D launchpads. There is a comparator subsystemalready on the launchpad. According to the description from TI, the reference pin of the comparator can be given input from DAC and the other from the External input. Also the output can be muxed to get out as ePWM, as i'm working on High Frequency (50kHz)
I don't see direct block for such applications. There are such blocks for other processors like C2803x, but not for F28379D. So i have 2 questions here
1: How can i used the Comparator subsystem using Simulink?
2: The input and the reference i want to give are bi-polar ( Sin wave + -), but i understand that the DAC will only provide +ive values, is there any easier way to do it?
Thanks
