Deactivation of a licence on a broken computer not possible

My computer is broken and it is replaced by a new one.

The licence server complains, that I want to activate more than purchased. (single licence!)

I cannot deactivate inside Matlab on the old computer, because it is defect and not existing anymore.

Please, provide a simple, 1-step procedure.

I just had to do this yesterday...for a machine IT wiped clean w/o letting me have access first and then while in there, did the dead machine, too, that hadn't bothered about before.
