distance between the obstacle and the curve

i would like to know the minimum distance between the curve and the obstacle?

i am only know the way points of the path p, its lock like path = [67 74; 36.8298 64.6241; 208.2909 353.0921; 59.781230 688.5678; 42 663]

note, the circular obstacle come from jpg image in desktop.
