How can I score MATLAB Grader assignments using the points assigned to assessment tests for the problems in an assignment?

I have created problems within MATLAB Grader assignments that have points associated with each assessment test. For example, a problem using a weighted assessment method may have three tests with points 2, 2, and 4; a second problem with points 1, 1, 1 and so on. I'd like the assignment to be scored based on these points. So for example if the student got all of the tests right for these two problems they would get (2+2+4)+(1+1+1)=11 points for the assignment. If they got only the third test of the first problem wrong, then they would get (2+2+0)+(1+1+1)=7 points for the assignment. As for as I can figure out, it looks like all I can get are 100% or 0% for each problem and there is no scoring I can find for an assignment. So for the second example the report would show 0% for the first problem and 100% for the second problem and no overall score for the assignment. The points assigned to tests seem to be completely ignored. Am I doing something wrong?

Currently, we only provide problem-level scoring in MATLAB Grader. We are looking into providing Assignment level scoring in the way that you described in a future release.
In the meantime, if you have a paid license for MATLAB Grader, you can integrate with a Learning Management System, and use the gradebook interface in your LMS to aggregate the scores from multiple problems and assign your own points/rubrics at the assignment level. Please contact MathWorks sales if your university does not yet have a paid MATLAB Grader license to enable LMS integration.

@Robert Lemor could you clarify what you are looking for? The OP (@George Eaton) had his issue resolved in the discussion thread. Regarding the allocation of points at the group or assignment level, this is best done using an LMS Gradebook and the LMS version of MATLAB Grader. If you are interested in that option, please reach out to your account representative or contact Customer Support.
