Unable to access Matlab online, even though MATALB standard individual license is installed on pc.

Hello there,

I am trying to use MATLAB online, I checked the eligibility for MatLab online and it showed bunch of license type for which this feature can work. One of the license was standard individual. Since I have a standard individual license it should be working but when I input my ID and password it just shows 3 possible reasons, I am sure, none of which is true. Does anyone happen to know the reason ?

Reason that Malab shows:

"Your account cannot currently access MATLAB Online. Possible reasons include:

• You have not associated to a license (use text field below) ( I am associated to Standard Individual license and I am using it on PC )
• You have a license that does not include access to MATLAB Online (Again standard individual )
• Your software maintenance expired ( Checked the Service End Date in License Center which is of next year ) "

Software maintenance is a support contract not a licence so you could be using MATLAB fine on your pc even though Your support contract had expired .

you should be able to see by using My Account and looking at the licence summary . To the right of every licence there is information about when the support contract expires

So, I went to the My Account -> License Center -> Manage Products.

It shows a bunch of toolbox that I have and Service End Date which is of next year. Looking at that Date I am assuming my software maintenance hasn't expired yet ?

More plausible reason that I can think of is that, since my license is not the master license maybe that has something to do with it. Any help in that direction would be appreciated.

Yes, Service End Date would be the end of Software Maintenance Service.

You should probably contact Mathworks for free installation support.
