I have been facing this problem since last week.

This afternoon, I installed Matlab 2018a on my macbookpro without removing the 2018b version. After the installation, I launched Matlab 2018b it opened. I waited to see the crash window I have been seeing recently in vain. No crash after an hour. I openend some of my scripts and functions and tried to run, everything runs well. I just opened some simple simulink models, the simulation runs well.

I have not yet tried to test more than this, but I feel like I must share this.

It worked the whole night, I closed it this morning and opened again, then the unexpected error forcing to close is back again.
