Beep sound giving me an error

I am trying to produce the beep sounds with matlab as a warning sign but it is giving me an error. Can someone help me out please.
Maximum recursion limit of 500 reached. Error in beep (line 1) beep Caused by: Maximum recursion limit of 500 reached.

You need to name your file something other than beep.m if you want to be able to invoke MATLAB's beep() function.
