Can Matlab Runtime (8.3 or later) be started with limited toolboxes?

I am trying to reduce the time it takes to start the runtime for a deployed executable. Currently, it takes minutes (!) when execution time for this (interactive) app is less. Any suggestions other than limiting toolboxes also appreciated. However, we don't have the option of saying - don't restart the machine and you won't have to wait.
