Do end users of a compiled MATLAB application using Database Toolbox need to set up their own ODBC sources?

I'm going to be developing code using the Database Toolbox. Eventually, I will compile the code and distribute to end users who will interact with the database. Will they each need to set up their own ODBC source to that database?
