How does MATLAB calculate lb <= x <= ub in LSQLIN?

Hello,
I have a simple question. How does MATLAB calculate
lb <= x <= ub
in this environment?
x = lsqlin([A;-A],[z;-d],[],[],[],[],lb,ub)
Anybody knows?

The Optimization Toolbox documentation provides background on the algorithms used by lsqlin. See the Algorithm section in the following link for more details
