Hello,
I'm using SimMechanics for KnC (Kinematics and Compliance) analyzes. The system contains some bodys which are connected elastically.
Now I only care for the static states and need no kinetic calculations. But because I have to assign masses to the bodys my system is vibratory which slows down the simulation and causes vibrations.
Is it possible to disable masses or kinetic calculations on SimMechanics?
Thank you in advance!

You cannot disable masses in Simscape Multibody (SimMechanics). To accelerate your simulation you might try the following:
  • increase the damping of your system
  • use a stiff solver
