Arduino Uno with Motor Shield rev 3 GUI

Hey! We started a project in our University in which we use a bipolar stepper motor with an arduino Uno and an arduino motor shield rev 3. I would like to create a GUI with a slider which sets the motor speed and when i click the button next to it the program uploads it to the arduino. Is this possible?cause i dont know how i can include the stepper lilbrary into the code.
