I'm using a 2020 Mac Mini. Will R2017a run on this computer if I upgrade to MacOS Tahoe?

I have no possibility of upgrading Matlab roght now, but I'd prefer to keep MacOS up to date if possible.

On Tahoe on MacOS Intel
- R2015aSP1 quits "unexpectedly"
- R2015b to R2017b silently fail to start. If started directly from bin/matlab then you get a segmentation fault.
- R2018a to R2021a starts properly. Warns about font "Times" not being present.
- R2021b flashes startup screen which then disappears. If started from terminal, errors "Cannot locate or initialize class com/mathworks/jmi/OpaqueJavaInterface."
- R2022a to R2025b starts normally
- R2026a pre-release will not start on MacOS intel, as it is an Apple-Silcon only release
Now... "2020 Mac Mini" could either mean an Intel-based Mac Mini purchased in 2020, or it could mean that 2020 model year Mac Mini -- which was an M1 processor. R2017a will not run on M1 processor. (I find some evidence that Apple continued to sell Core i5 and Core i7 based Mac Mini for a few more years, but I do not have information about whether those were labled as Mac Mini 2020, or if they were labled as Mac Mini 2018.)
