Matlab Compiler Splash screens sizes, aspect ratio

There are two splash screen locations available in Matlab Compiler. One for the App itself, the other for the installer. I can't find any information about the recommended size or format of these images. I tried different sizes, but they image display always looks like interpolated via nearest neighbor or linear (should be spline). Can someone give me a hint here?

Thanks, but there is no information on aspect ratio or pixel resolution as far as I can see...
