Hi, I am trying to save a plot as .emf with a lot of scattered data points, plotted as dots ('.'). Saving works but when importing the saved image to Word, and then exporting to pdf it does not look like a vector image, not in word and not in the generated pdf file. It looks more like a jpeg or similar. It seem to work OK when I only have 2 vectors plotted, but with 3 or more it gives me worse image quality. But when I rerun the plot routine using ('-') instead of ('.'), everything works fine. Is there a constratint that allows for how many datapoints or number of vectors than can be plotted in a vector images or do you know of any work around for instance?
All help appreciated! /Fredrik

My problem was solved bu using the straight forward solution: In the figure window, Go to menu Edit -> Copy Figure Then I got a vector format image which looks good both in word and in pdf!
