How can I breakdown a data matrix of say 40000 x 901 to specific nodes and seeds?

I need to break a set of data down into Nodes and Seeds in x,y and z directions, representing different locations on an object.

@John Kadiri Is that along the right lines? Do you need help implementing it?

Hi,
To represent different locations on an object in MATLAB using nodes and seeds in x, y, and z directions, you'll need to define a 3D grid of points. Each point on this grid can be considered a node, and seeds are specific nodes from which some process (like a simulation or an algorithm) can be initiated.
Here's a step-by-step approach to create nodes and select seeds:
  1. Define the Grid Dimensions: Determine the range and spacing for each dimension (x, y, and z) based on the size and resolution you want for the object.
  2. Create the Nodes: Use 'meshgrid' or 'ndgrid' to generate a grid of points (nodes) in the 3D space.
  3. Select Seeds: Choose specific nodes to act as seeds. This could be done randomly, based on certain criteria, or by specifying exact positions.
I hope this resolves your issue.
