Scope and Display block with the LEGO mindstorm EV3

I want to see the reading of the Color sensor of the lego mindstorm EV3 on computer so in the simulink model that I created, I connected both the scope and the display to the output of the Color Sensor block and I started the programm but nothing appears on both the display and the scope !!! any suggestions ???

I found it the simulation mode needs to be external. with external mode you can tune the parameters and observe the signal during simulation.
