problem with dicom dark file show and saving , please help

read dicom file and show but very dark I'm use autoscale in imshow or export but notwork I think dicom are look inverse not normaly please help . for next step i will adjust.
file type : uint16
origImg = dicomread(uigetfile('~/matlab/*.*', 'Select Dicom File')); origImg = im2double(origImg); origImg = mat2gray(origImg);
imshow(origImg, [] );
