Specify the path of an include file to compile the device tree against

Syntax

addIncludeFolder(dirPath)


Description

addIncludeFolder(dirPath) specifies a folder path of an include file to compile the device tree against.

Input Arguments

dirPath — Folder path

" " (default) | string | character vector

Absolute path or relative path of the device tree include folder, specified as a string or character vector. The include folder path can be either an absolute path or a path relative to the board plugin folder. You do not need to specify the board plugin folder as an include folder because it is automatically added to the include folder list. The include folders exist on the host computer. If a folder cannot be found, a warning is produced and the include folder is skipped.

Example: "C:\work\devicetrees\zynq" specifies an absolute path.

Example: "devicetrees\zynq" specifies a path relative to the board plugin folder.

R2026b: addDeviceTreeIncludeDirectory renamed to addIncludeFolder

The addDeviceTreeIncludeDirectory function has been renamed to the addIncludeFolder function.

To specify a folder path of an include file to compile the device tree against, use the addIncludeFolder function. Using the addDeviceTreeIncludeDirectory function is not recommended and will be removed in a future release. If you use the addDeviceTreeIncludeDirectory function, the function now gives this warning message.

"addDeviceTreeIncludeDirectory" will be removed in a future release. Use "addIncludeFolder" instead.
