We seek a technical, business-oriented, individual to lead MathWorks growing Automotive Functional Safety and Certification product family as a Senior Product Marketing Manager.
In this role, you will leverage your industry experience, technical background, and business acumen to foster use of MATLAB, Simulink, and Polyspace in functional safety applications while guiding future development efforts, such as those involving autonomous driving.
This unique position involves global responsibilities but is based in Munich to support local development teams and certification authorities. Travel expectation is ~20% of your time.
Market strategist for automotive certification for MATLAB, Simulink, and Polyspace products
Product marketing owner of IEC Certification Kit (for IEC 61508, ISO 26262 and related standards) and driver of productization decisions for new safety and certification tools
Market influencer, committee member, and caretaker focused on Model-Based Design for SOTIF and emerging AD/ADAS safety and security standards
In field advocate and automotive certification resource for customer engagements including MathWorks Advisory Boards, MATLAB Conferences and Expos, and key customer visits
Experience with tool qualification, certification audits, and safety standards committees
Knowledge of ISO26262:2018, SOTIF and safety analysis techniques (e.g. FTA, FMEA)
Fluent German and English language skills (Level C1/C2)
