Join the Symbolic Math Toolbox team to develop math libraries for the symbolic engine used in computational mathematics.
In this team, you will design, develop and enhance features that enables users to explore, rewrite and simplify equations, and to compute analytical solutions as well as numeric solutions using variable precision arithmetic. You will work on the next generation of the symbolic engine math library that will make users in research and engineering even more productive. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Design, architecture and development of user-facing features (algorithms and interfaces)
Writing clean, carefully crafted, well-tested code
Participating in implementation strategy and design reviews with colleagues
Solid background in mathematics, especially computer algebra, symbolic math, and computational mathematics
5+ years’ experience in an objected-oriented or functional programming language (e.g., MATLAB, C++, Python)
