Description

Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI) has explained and demonstrated various facets of engineering services to customers. It specializes in developing engineering solutions and services based on MATLAB across various domains including automotive and several others.

RBEI system integration services include:

  • Analyzing and visualizing data to identify trends, estimate behavior, and validate data
  • Importing data from test bench and vehicle measurement files with various file formats
  • Developing tools with customized algorithms, debugging, and optimizing algorithms via MATLAB applications as standalone or web-based
  • Supporting data modeling, event-based and physical modeling simulation, and verification and validation using Simulink®, Stateflow®, and Simscape™

Typical end users include application engineers, system integration and validation engineers, and R&D engineers. RBEI helps engineers in developing custom solutions for highly computational and data intensive problems using various MATLAB toolboxes.

RBEI engineers have used MathWorks products to develop in-house tools for powertrain, simulation, and control systems applications. The company has developed customized tools for its clients based on MathWorks software. MATLAB has been used in processing measurement signals from the test bench and developing algorithms for noise, vibration, steering systems, and engine testing.

In addition to system integration using MathWorks tools, RBEI has developed a MATLAB interface in the Microsoft® .NET and Java® software environment. System integration services for increasingly common .NET and Java applications allow developers access to the powerful MATLAB library. Moreover, developers of tools based on MATLAB and Simulink can interface to a .NET/Java application to provide a full-featured user interface that is user friendly and portable across computing platforms. Typical applications include high-speed data acquisition, real-time control, real-time signal processing, and non-real-time system modeling and data analysis.
