How can I identify the region where the ferret is through color in the image?

I still don't think it's answerable. Given that the image looks like it's part of what used to be a JPG, and the question asks about color-based segmentation, I'm suspecting that there isn't even enough of the image present to do the job even if we knew what the specific goals actually were.

Use the Color Thresholder app on the Apps tab of the tool ribbon.

It's a generic, general purpose demo of how to threshold an image to find blobs, and then measure things about the blobs, and extract certain blobs based on their areas or diameters.
